His Mercies are New Every Morning - A Testimony of Transformation
If you’ve struggled with sin, then you know that Satan’s accusations can be relentless. …. Satan has been a liar from the beginning. Hold fast to God’s Word instead! “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” (Lam. 3:22-23 NRVSA)
The Comfort of Appreciating My Dad’s Legacy
The legacy of heroes is the memory of a great name and the inheritance of a great example. -Benjamin Disraeli
wading through grief with eyes on the sunrise
Time with our loved ones is a gift, but heaven is too. When my dad died suddenly, I had to keep my eyes on the Sunrise of Jesus my Savior to get through the pain.

Looking back, looking forward
I find myself wondering about the lessons that God wanted me to learn this past year, and whether or not I learned them well. Did I listen to His still small voice? A Healing Poem - Dearest Mom
Dearest Mom,
No one could ever take your place in my life,
Because you’re my mom,
And I cherish you.
God hand chose you to be the person you are--
He hand chose me to be your daughter--
And His grace is enough for both of us. ….

the story behind “Yellow Buttercup”
The story behind “Yellow Buttercup” — a piece featured in my book Journey into Trust.
I got off the phone knowing that the conversation I just had was a gift from God Himself and we stepped out in faith to follow this nurse’s generous advice. For our son, it turned out that UVBI (Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation) was a game changer. The seven treatments he did allowed his immune system to finally see the stealth infections that had haunted him and gave his body the boost it needed to overcome. But it was the gift of that small flower with its gleaming yellow petals that gave me the hope and strength I needed to press ahead and keep fighting the good fight!
